Kewl Kickstarter: Whaleywasher

If you follow me or the show long enough you’ll probably hear me talking about a Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign I’m backing. I’ve been backing cool stuff since 2010 and after I became a parent in 2011, I started looking at backing kid related projects more. I’ve found a number of great products over the past year, so I decided to start a new section of the website called Kewl Kickstarter (yes I grew up in the 80’s & 90’s) to highlight some of the projects I’m putting my money behind. Most of the time they fund and fulfill (very, very rarely they don’t fulfill, I’m looking at you One More Girl :/)

First up is a product that I really hope funds. My little boy Mateo is growing so fast and becoming more and more independent. At his daycare they have a nice little setup where all the little kids can climb a set of stairs, turn the water on and off and wash their hands on their own. Unfortunately at home Mateo can’t reach the faucet to turn the water on or off and I have to use a faucet extender just so the water reaches his hands. So when I came across Whaleywasher I thought this would be perfect! Watch the video below to learn all about how the product works. Want to be an early backer this project? Go here! You have less than 9 days left to help them reach their goal of $20,000 (at the time of this post they were at $17,000+)
